This week on The Pour Choices Show, we go from a missing neighborhood cat and a suburban alligator sighting to foreign-language television, abandoned golf courses, bizarre time-capsule realizations, and the continued collapse of Chris’s missing putter investigation.
We kick things off with a story about a friendly neighborhood cat that suddenly appeared on missing posters, while David casually reveals that his neighbors had an alligator wandering through their yard. Because apparently Florida suburbs are just nature documentaries with property taxes.
From there, things immediately get uncomfortable.
We reminisce about the National Geographic magazines everyone somehow remembers from elementary school, ask what an audience would scream at the screen if our lives were movies, and debate the logistics of holding a funeral when only one arm is recovered at sea.
Naturally, that leads to time capsules.
David realizes the time capsule his fifth-grade class buried in 2000 was probably dug up almost immediately when the school was demolished, which raises another important question: what exactly qualifies someone as a time-capsule expert? Then Chris gives the latest update on his missing Scotty Cameron putter saga. The investigation is mostly dead, hope is fading, and he has responded to this defeat in the most financially responsible way possible: buying a brand-new custom putter.
Things only get more chaotic from there:
